Easy to weave in the ever-popular houndstooth weave structure.  This color & weave cotton baby blanket is machine wash & dryable too!  The more you wash it, the softer it gets!

This blanket is beautiful with or without a crochet border.

This project can be finished in a day for a last-minute gift that will be cherished for a lifetime.

Weave Structure: plain weave houndstooth

Yarns:  Softball Cotton; 8/2 Variegated Cotton

Equipment needed: Rigid Heddle Loom; 23.8” weaving width; 10 dent reed; 2 shuttles

Other supplies needed:  tapestry needle for sewing panels together; crochet hook size H (optional)

Finished Dimensions:  one baby blanket 25" x 39" plus optional hemmed or crochet border

Note: The Softball yarn used in this pattern has been discontinued. You can substitute Cotton Tail 8/4 or Monte Cristo.
