This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave The Perfect Towels that were designed by Tracy Kaestner for Handwoven, Nov/Dec 2022, pages 68–72.
The “perfect” towels in this project combine turned Atwater-Bronson with cotton. The original towels that are woven by Tracy Kaestner were woven in cottolin, but we are offering this kit in 100% cotton.
Weave structure: Turned Atwater-Bronson
Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 cotton
This kit includes Aurora Earth 8/2 cotton yarns in place of the original cottolin specified in the pattern.
Equipment needed: 8-shaft loom with 23” weaving width; 10-dent reed; 1 shuttle; 4 bobbins
Finished size: three hemmed towel 18 1/2" x 24"
Instructions needed: Handwoven November/December 2022
