Golden Harvest Rep Weave Rug

Rep Weave, or "Ripsmatta," is a warp-faced weave that highlights the dense, tight sett of the warp while letting the weft yarn slightly show through. 

It’s ideal for creating a rug that's both robust and easy to maintain. The lightweight nature allows for convenient machine washing, which is a significant advantage for home textiles. Plus, the dense warp provides a stable base, helping the rug stay in place and offering a nice, cushioned feel underfoot.

Weave Structure: rep weave

Yarns: 8/4 Rug Warp in ivory, mahogany, gold, and dark brown; Natural Mop Cotton.

Equipment needed: rigid heddle or 4-shaft loom, 32" weaving width, 15 dent reed, 2 shuttles. You will need either a stick or rag shuttle for the Mop Cotton.

Finished size: one rug 28 1/2" x 55" hemmed.
