Beach House Placemats & Napkins
Inspired by the peaceful rhythm of ocean waves, these beachy placemats and napkins will bring a sense of calm and coastal charm to your table.
It's the perfect project for beginners, yet enjoyable for weavers of all skill levels. This project is both relaxing and rewarding to weave.
Weave structure: rep weave for placemats and plain weave for napkins.
Yarns: 8/2 Aurora Earth cottons in natural, beige, polo tan, peach, nile green and super chunky Mop Cotton.
Equipment needed: Rigid Heddle Loom; 14” weaving width; 12 dent reed; 2 stick shuttles.
Setts: 12 epi (2 per slot/2 per hole in 12 dent reed); 7.5 ppi
Finished size for placemats: four placemats 13.5” x 16” hemmed.
Finished size for napkins: four napkins 13” x 20” hemmed.
